DescriptionThe day we hiked Soldier Pass Trail was a day filled with unforgettable memories. For instance, this stunning view was captured while taking a lengthy break on the red rock plateau that sits at the base of the scrambling trail leading to the two-story Soldier Pass Cave. The weather forecast called for 50 degree temps and 2% cloud cover...and I was very fortunate to capture what I did. The black and white version of this image draws out the textures and the use of contrast injects emotion.
