Sharing images of where my compass and lens take me...

During a recent visit to Florida, our son found a great place for us to take a long walk together. The weather was nearly perfect - perhaps a tad warm with a smidge of humidity in the air - but the sky was gorgeous, the vibrancy of spring was evident, and the wildlife was everywhere! For instance, this active little critter, the Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis) was bobbing his head up and down while moving ever so quickly along a fence that lined our pathway. He was prominently displaying his reddish-pink dewlap every few seconds and it was just begging for me to try and capture the moment. His activity was fast, so I had to make sure all my settings were perfect. You should have seen the smile on my face when I saw this! Viola! So excited to have snapped this shot.
