Black & White

Experience the tone, texture, and dimension of these images showcasing the power of a black and white / monochromatic image.  The intensity of these images draw the viewer into the scene to where it's nearly impossible to not feel the depth of the moment.

I was determined to get that cityscape shot while we were in San Diego. So, we took the drive over the San Diego - Coronado Bridge to Centennial Park on North Island where I found the perfect spot to perch for a bit. It was a gorgeous day to just sit there and wait for the perfect moment - and that I believe is what I was able to capture! If you let your eyes wander around the photo, you will see tall buildings standing prominently against a clear sky, as well as a tiny little gift in between the two tallest buildings in the image. Yes! I was able to catch an airplane coming in for a landing!

Black and white image of the San Diego skyline taken from the edge of Centennial park across the San Diego Bay on North Island. There is a beautiful blue hue left in the sky to separate it from the cityscape and, in between two of the buildings, the viewer can see a commercial airplane coming in for a landing to San Diego airport.
