Landscapes

Mountains, seascapes, desert, and forests ~ there are so many diverse and spectacular scenes to experience on this planet and I have every intention of capturing a many of them as I am capable in life.

Landscape Collection.

It was one of my very first nights on Oahu ~ actually, one of my first nights ever in Hawaii. To sit on the rocks and enjoy this spectacular display of beauty and serenity as the evening came to a close just took my breath away. Next to me, there was a group of about four or five women singing a song that seemed to serenade the sun to sleep as it drifted below the horizon. I loved watching the vibrant orange glow of the sun on top of the water, highlighting the details and casting a warm glow on the ocean waves. The dark clouds hanging in the sky added such a contrast to the radiant sky. It is an evening and a moment I was so grateful to capture in my mind, my heart, and now in this image forever.

The fiery orange sun lit the sky as it began to sink into the horizon over the Pacific Ocean from the view of the North Shore of Oahu.
