Wildlife

Connecting with our furry, fluffy, and funny little friends out in their own habitat has to be one of the most rewarding opportunities for me as a photographer.  To capture that image of them locking eyes with me, or even watching them play around in their own environment ~ these are moments that bring my soul joy.

Wildlife Collection.

While enjoying a desert walk one hot Arizona day, I noticed this beautifully colored Gambel's quail perched on a low, concrete wall. It just stood there, as if it had no care in the world except to showcase its distinctive plume while casually gazing at the much taller humans passing by on the trail. The thought that immediately crossed my mind at that very moment ~ if only I could get myself to stand still and just observe life instead of always running to the next thing...one thing after another after another. Animals in nature are so inspiring. I love to take opportunity to just sit and watch them carry on with their lives. uninterrupted, care-free, and without a single worry about what comes next on the task list to complete.
