Connecting with our furry, fluffy, and funny little friends out in their own habitat has to be one of the most rewarding opportunities for me as a photographer.  To capture that image of them locking eyes with me, or even watching them play around in their own environment ~ these are moments that bring my soul joy.

As we strolled along the Tuna Harbor pier in San Diego, I was lucky enough to catch these two seagulls in a close interaction against a backdrop of the ocean. Their beaks gently touch as they face each other.
